It was touch and go for a while on Friday. Looked like Ike was going to slam us in Miami. Had to cancel my travel to Mexico, but as it turns out Ike will be skipping Miami ..... that was a close call. The lines were just beginning at the gas pumps.

And then there was Josephine. Been lucky here in Miami so far. Lots of wind and rain but no major damage. Hope we will get by unscathed for the rest of the season.
